HRTHNHB’s - High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings

1 - Egypt will give a large parcel of land to the S of Gaza. It will be controlled by The UN until "New Palestine" is complete & officially declared a country by The UN. In exchange, Egypt will get a piece of land facing the Mediterranean Sea in North "New Palestine" - The name I have given the new country (reasons below)

2 - Israel will renovate & expand the existing hospital in Gaza with a wall for protection.

Note - Most of the following would be the same for my Community Living Center (CLC) idea as my plan for the proper alternative for the 25% of NYC's population that is classified as poor - 2 million in NYC - like the 2 million homeless & starving in Gaza) - I am running ( walking, actually - very slowly) for Mayor of NYC - all in the section below this one)

3 - Elon Musk will built 600,000 tiny homes (they can do that in China in 20 or 30 minutes) & place 36 on each side of the top 15 floors of the 20 story 500 new High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings HRTHNHB’s to be built by Master Musk (Chinese labor - about 3 weeks to complete). The buildings will be built with open sides on the top 15 floors. This will allow for "easy" installations of the Tiny Homes! There will not be corridors, there will be a Street. Each tiny home will have a porch on the front. A neighborhood in the sky!” There will be 3 common dining rooms in the lower floors of each building. Food will be frozen meals with drinks in small containers with straws. Life will be on the "Siesta System".

4 - Gaza will be totally razed & once all the Palestinians are in the tiny homes, the tunnels will be flooded. Hopefully, Hamas will realize "their time is up" & will surrender & release all the remaining hostages. Any Hamas still in the tunnels will come up or drown! Bye bye HAMAS! The tunnels will be filled in leaving some for historical purposes.

5 - North New Palestine will be built.There will be free bus transportation from the HRTHNHB's in South New Palestine to North New Palestine where most of l the support venues will be built

They basically have a $0 cost of living (sounds good to me!) - no housing cost, no food cost unless they want to go to the grocery/deli downstairs in their building, no transportation costs (there will be scooters for use by those who want to "get out on their own for a while - or with a sweetheart in the back holding on tight - like I had in college), no medical costs, no nothing.

* Classes for getting a Certificate of Excellence in the field of their choice - with the Certificate, they will be able to get a job anyw. ere in the world!.

*A "New Palestine" Town Square - everyone loves a Town Square! They will be built in Community Living Centers also. They will have inexpensive restaurants & shops wilh inventory for the non monies residents. There will be lots of gelatto shops with every Plaestinian getting a coupon every day for 1 free gelato every day! My favorit is coffee! No Gucci, Pucci or Schmuchi here - go to a Luxury Egyptian resort near by for that!!

* Many movie house for the 2 million New Palestinian residents (free entrance)

*Yoga, pilates ++ centers & gyms.

*Multiple live theaters for those who want to act in shows or learn acting

*Baseball field fields, soccer, basketball, tennis, pickle ball +++. Even A St Pete shuffleboard Center, volley ball fields + what did I leave out?

*Concert halls for playing, & learning to play, instruments. There will be marching bands to perform on the soccer field. . I was in the marching band in HS & we had a very complicated routine & everyone got screwed up - we were like speghetti on the field (a fond childhood memory!)

*An amusement park with free rides & games

What to do with the Palestinians in The West Bank you ask - here's the plan, Stan:

The 2 or 3 areas in the West Bank that are primarily Palestinean will get defined boundaries and each will become States or Provinces of New Palestine.

He can have architectural competitions to design different buildings for the approximately 500 HRTHNHB's needed to house the 2 million currently homeless and starving Palestinians.

In the HRTHNHB's, kids can ride their bikes & people can stroll up & down the "Street". "Good morning George & Martha - you're lookin' mighty fine this morning - good to see you - have a good day!" Unlike Liza Minnelli's brilliant song "Ring Them Bells" about a woman who meets her future husband in Youglslavia - it turns out they have lived next door to each other (at 5 Riverside Drive) for over 10 years & never met! At both ends of the streets will be a large, enclosed, terrace. "Life is good, Shula! Mohammed, how did this happen? Is it a dream?"

The same concept is for an alternative to the 2 million people who are classified as poor in NYC! 25% of NYC's population! All CLC's will rfunctionin "Siesta Time" - it is a more functioning & peasant day. I lived in Netanya, Israel in '84 - '87 with my family & experienced life in "Siesta Time". It goes like this:

* New Palestine & All CLC's will. be on "Siesta Time" - Schools, businesses, everything, begins at 8 am. Things close from 12.30 - 1. Everyone goes home & the big meal is at lunch. Kids can play & adults can take a well deserved snooze - maybe a little you know what to highlight the day, if you get the drift! Then @ 3.30 back to where you left off, closing up & finishing at 6.45 to go home for a light dinner.

* When they get home from schools, kids are off for the rest of the day - play, go to North New Palestine for sports or an acting or instrument lesson - practice with the band +++ or just have FUN! All the others will go back to their jobs, higher education classes & classes for getting a Certificate of Excellence in the field of their choice.

* Things start to close at 6.45 & all return home for a light supper. Good day, "Ali to Schulameet - 'It WAS another good day. How do we thank Elon Musk?"

"It Does Not Make Much Sense to "Take Care of' Poverty in some of the Most Expensive Real Estate in The World"

I am running for Mayor of New York City. My ideas are transformative, powerful & wide ranging to help the poor, the middle class & upper middle class, the rich, Super Rich ($5 million to $1Billion) & The Billionaire Class

25% of New York City’s population is classified as poor. This is 2 million people! What do they contribute to New York City financially - not much (not their fault) but that’s how it goes. What do they cost New York City?

1/3 of NYC's budget goes to supporting the poor.

Things will change dramatically when the NYC population shifts from 25% poor to about 95% not poor. Contests will be held for winners for a poor personto get a $1,000/mo NYC Debit Card for "I am a Great New Yorker" - more on that below

How to create a change in the population from 25%poor? My ideas & plans are below:

8/16/25 - 7.19am - trying to copy & past updated info - Apple (one of the largest corps sin the world - only opens at 8am - So arrogant. They have customer service all over the world - it would cost very little - but - "Sorry, only 8 am till 10 pm for us". Hopefully, I will find a way to change that!

* Create financial incentives for the poor to make a decision they will leave NYC because it is in their interest. They will be offered money to move. More below. Many will decide it is in their interest to take the money & move.

My "pledge" as Mayor - "Mayor Donnie" (TYVM) is I WILL Make NYC

(& Our President!) - Who are the murderers? The poor! Who are the rapists? The poor - mostly (And Our President!); Who are the "Open Air" Drug Dealers - The poor - The others have it home delivered! You see, the "Quality of Life" will be so wonderful when NYC does not have 25% of its population as poor. Nothing against poverty but it DOES NOT BELONG IN NYC!

Who opens store doors with a plastic cup in their hand? The poor! Don't get me wrong - I have nothing "against" poverty - I just want them to choose someplace else to live by accepting a financial offer to move! $25,000 - "Let's go to your sister Rose in Tuscaloosa - we'll never see $25,000 again in our lifetime. We can both do well there & $25,00 will be FANTASTIC! Let's start packing now! Details of the idea are below

*Ending homelessness - the most expedient way is to offer $5,000 to a homeless person who has a friend/relative pick them up with an agreement signed by the 2 that if the homeless person should be found back in NYC, the "friend/relative" will be subject to a $10,000 fine as a legal monetary judgement. Community Living Center (CLC) High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings as presented above in my idea for a Palestinian Homeland, is an expensive alternative. They will be built on inexpensive vacant land &/or in cities & towns that want them. The full CLC idea is on pg 2 or pg 3 - scroll down pg 2 - fi not there, you must scroll back to the top of pg 2 to click on pg 3 - sorry, one day Godaddy may put in a search bar at the top so you don't have to "rummage around"!

* America needs to begin getting the approximately 30,000 homeless vets into CLC's. We won't tell Donald Trump!

* Make Times Square a "Special NYC District" where ONLY those sanctioned by Broadway, Off Broadway & any NYC entertainment venue (with a permit), can solicit in Times Square. Most will be in costume. a 10 minute "show" every 1/2 hour - 1 just below the sititng stands at 47th /st & the other just N of 1 Times Square. They will have hand held ticket devices to accept payment & give he customer a bar code or QR code. theater can decide how they want to sell tickets - discounts all the time - only that day or full priced tickets anytime in the future. This will make Times Square about theater!

Bye bye Mickey & Minnie & The Hulk & The Naked Cowboy (he should retire to Boca). They will all be able to "ply their trade" on side streets - not even 42nd Street (from 1/2 way East from Broadway to 8th Ave- a vital part of the "aura" of Times Square.

* Have teacher contests to give the top 20% of NYC teachers a 20% increase in salaries - "Top teachers of NYC" - We want to attract the best teachers in the world to come to NYC so NYC will have the finest public schools in the world

Oh my! La coo ca rocha -

* Try "Siesta Time" for some - Everything opens at 8 am - home by 1 for a big lunch (& maybe some "quality time" with who knows who - Marla Maples - ?). A snooze, relax & "catch your breath" & back to work at 4 - closing up at 8. Not sure how this would work - a duel society, but I lived in Netanya, Israel on "Siesta time" & it IS a much better quality of life day. Just a thought!

* Housing Costs & Rent Regulations - this is a big one! The essence of the idea is that

Tenants should know that there will not be "kicked out" of their apartments!

ALL rent laws will be end with the tenant's initial rent staying as is (details outlined below) with a 6 year leases with a step up after the 3rd year. Increases will be governed by The NYC Rent Guidelines Board.

Ones housing costs is probably the most important financial aspect of people’s lives! And the security, or insecurity, they have about their “home” is of upmost importance in everyone’s life.

As Mayor I will do my best to implement the following changes:

All tenants will have lifetime rights to their apartments, including currently Decontrolled Apts - This is a person’s home & they are entitled to know, except for replacing them with family, they can feel secure that they will be able to stay in their home. Reasonable, No? The details of this plan are below.

Tenants can not be evicted unless the LL can prove a family member wants the apt to be heard & decided by The NYC Housing Court. Affidavits would have to be presented & if it turns out they were lied, the LL will be subject to a monetary judgement against them in favor of the “evicted” tenant. Application would have to be made no sooner than 1 yr in advance & if LL is granted possession, the tenant will have up to 1 yr to move from the date of the order of the court. If the tenant does not move within 365 days, there will be daily penalties set by the court with money damages in favor of the LL.

When decontrol ends (not sure how to proceed with that - a binding Executive Order would be most efficient, rents would be set where they are with the Rent Guidelines Board establishing increases every year for expired leases (the 1st determination will be 6 years away as the new “rent regulation” will give tenants a 6 year lease with a step up at yr. 3. Like Rent Stabilized rents that will have the same guidelines. for “formally” decontrolled apts.

These are homes & the tenants in currently decontrolled apts are entitled to known they will not be thrown out of their home.

The idea is to make NYC as attractive as possible to attract a huge influx of middle class & upper middle class to NYC. Housing costs & security of keeping an apartment/home is of upmost importance.

As there is a population shift, there will be an increase in availability which should stabilize initial rents.

About 50,000 "asylum seekers live in NYC hotels. These rooms could be modestly priced rooms for tourists who will significantly contribute to NYC revenue with the money they spend. Asylum seekers are "protected" under NYState law if they have obtained the proper paperwork.

"Asylum seekers" should be in Community Living Center High Rise Neighborhood Buildings to be built on vacant inexpensive land &/or in cities or towsn that want the. Ther is no law saying they must be in "expensive" NYC real estate. To house 50,000 will require 13,000 tiny homes to be inserted into about 13 HRTHNHB's

Rent Controlled Apartments - From WW II! - It will be ended w 6% increase each yr till reached 70% of market rent is reached, then 6 year leases with a step up in year 3. All rent increases will be set by The Rent Guidlines Board

Rent Stabilized Apartments - RS will end & like Rent Controlled apartments, there will be a 6% increase until the rent is at 70% of market value. Thn the Rent Guidlines Board will set rents as in previously Rent Controlled apartments - 6 year leases with a step up in year 3

Decontrolled Apartments - Tenants are entitled to know their home will not be take away at the whim of the LL. Base rents would be where they are - tenants can not be evicted & future rent increases would be set w Rent Guidlines Board as outlined above with the 1st "lease" being 6 years, as These are people's homes & as tenants they are entitled to known they will not be thrown out of their home. For a LL to get possession, it will be only for an immediate relative - a father, mother, son, daughter or sibling. No cousin 2nd removed! Application will be made to The Housing Court with an affidavit from both the LL & proposed new tenant & proof of the relationship. It must be submitted no sooner than 1 year before proposed possession with the tenant's right to move at any time. An agreed payment, set by the Housing Court, will have to be paid by the LL to the tenant upon moving with per diem penalties if the money is not paid to become a money judgement against the LL. This is serious stuff! If it can be proved by removed tenant that all was falsley presented, they will be entitled to regain possession & the LL will be fined a penalty, subject to collection, with a fine imposed by a judge.

As there is a population shift, there will be many less non payment cases - it is the poor that have problems paying rent There will be a new part in The Housing Court Called "The LL - Tenant Abusive Behavior Court"

This relationship can be contentious & either party can file a complaint against the other with proof of the abuse! A judge will make a decision & either dismiss or impose a monetary fine against the aggregious party (let's party, baby!)

The idea is to make NYC as attractive as possible to attract a huge influx of middle class & upper middle class to NYC.

I was in Manhattan on August 1 and I must’ve seen 50 people sleeping on the sidewalk or on benches. I saw so many people opening doors with cups in their hands. I saw a groups of what look like a very unpleasant group hanging out together in the small park, This is not the environment that makes people feel comfortable. People feel most comfortable with others who are similar to themselves, not by skin color, but by the way they carry themselves and behave

airbnb, vrbo - ++ - They will be permitted in any building of five or less apartments. The landlord will have the right, without consent from tenants to use any vacant apartments for ARB&Bs, or any similar program.

Having affordable places for people to stay is in the interest of NYC & will attract many more people to NYC. Tourists spend, spend, spend - they go to theater & other cultural events. They are desirable, but many can not afford to come to NYC now because they can not afford a hotel. Hotels can be what they are intended to be, which is moderately priced, upscale and luxury - not places to house homeless people.

In multifamily buildings, the landlord can make an application that will either be approved or disapproved (majority rules) by tenants on each floor where they want to use a vacant apt for airbnb. The tenants on that floor would have to approve it and in consideration for their approval, they will receive $ to be placed in an attorney’s escrow account @ 15% of the gross income from the AIRBNB. There will be a monthly report to each floor's tenants where th airbnb has been approved & funds deposited will be distributed quarterly.]]

* Cancel Opposite Side of the Street Parking - go. look at any street when the cars have moved & Sanitation has not come - they are all clean! Oh my - why have we been inconveniencing probably 1 million+ people every week? It can only be (like from Fiddler on th Roof - "Tradition, Tradition". Well some traditions are best ended. Property owners will, & do, keep the sidewalks & curbsie clean. If there isas a "special" problem, notice will be posted 6 weeks in advance for the "Spcical Day - Move your car day!

* Subways:

1 - Have artists paint the inside & outside of all cars with all entrances & stations totally renovated by a philanthropist (or corporation) - The Oprah Winfrey 59th & Broadway Station

2 - Put 4 or 5 concentrated heat lamps & a/c's in areas with clear wide plastic pieces for enclosure, No need freezing or "dying from the heat" anymore

3 - Have someone go through each station & decide where signs should be placed so people know where to get to where they what to go & what directions should go on that sign

4 - Have regular crews to clean stations at about 3am daily.

5 - Cancel ads on the Subway app - how inconvenient - you go to the app to check something & immediately an add comes up that can not be cancelled - Oh well, I guess I'l just ask around

* Free 24/7/365 child care from a 2 week old baby through Kindergarten

* All school children (grade 1 - 12) will go on an "outing" in NYC once a month in the morning. You could spend a lifetime going to all the wonderful places to go in NYC. Twice a year, there will be an "outing" to a cultural event - a show, conceet, dance +++. All venues will hire young new casts for these off day (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday) matinees for NYC Public School students (starting in grade 4.

* Garbage bins will be eliminated (everyone hates them!) & everyone will have to buy different colored bags (many will make them for sale) to separate garbage to place out at the curb, like before: Green for glass, Blue for paper & small boxes, etc, etc & so forth.

Currently non recyclables like TV sets & whatever which now requires a trip to College Point or who knows where, will be allowed to be put out for pick up once a month.

* For garbage in Manhattan & other 'urban areas" there will be artistically designed (a contest for each !) 1/3 sized container type Garbage - Posting Boards - Places to Sit (no benches) with flowers to have openings on the sidewalk side to put garbage in (in the colored bags) & openings on he street sid for removal by Sanitation. Yippee - no more unsightly black garbage bags lining the streets

* da Bronx (baby) will be a new "Special District" with reduced RE taxes & income taxes for employees for new Call Centers - it will bring so many jobs to da Bronx (& America!) Give a Bronx Cheer for this one! GoYankees!

Maybe The Dodgers will want to return to Brooklyn! Oh Boy - New Yorkers had a passion for them - maybe 2 teams - The LA Dodgers & the Brooklyn Dodgers! -

* End zoning - Huh? Well many great cities do not have zoning. It is, basically, stupid, & against the interest of natural change. Why not alllow allt these new call Center buildings in da Bronx (baby) to be both commercial AND residential - a short "commute" to work! Not possible now - ILLEGAL - You must file this & that & spend tens, or hundreds, of thousands, to change the "zoning".

My idea, like in Paris & London & all of Texas, is ANYTHING legal - no Jeffrey Epstein "Fun Houses" can be put in existing buildings. For new construction, notices would go out to all within 1/4 mile of the proposed new construction with presentations Y discussions & then a vote (showing proof of residence in the !/4 mile "voting restriction" - majority rules. No more First Ave Trump Towers built "as of right" buying air rights - the local neighborhood will decide. CPositive change will happen rapidly all over our great city!

* Neighborhoods will be defined with boundaries with City Council members representing contiguous neighborhoods. A more efficient government! "I live in Williamsburg, I think - maybe Bushwick - not really sure, but I know it IS Brooklyn, for sure!" Now people will know exactly what neighborhood they live in - Wowie, Zowie Kapowie

* All corners will have large NYC street Identification signs on each corner with the Street, cross steet & Neighborhood. There will be kisocks all over NY with info on that neighborhood & palces to go & sight to see - brochurees will be available in water proof thing a ma jugs.

* NYC will rent retail stores all over. the City for Public bathrooms - "Excuse me - do you have a bathroom here? No sorry, try down the block or around the corner. Each will have 2 attendies for any problems & to make sure they are used for going to the bathroom not for an afternoon F!

* Offer a buyout - not required to be accepted, but most will take the money, to NYCHA (New York city Housing Authority) tenants - $25,000. Start with the worst building. I am assuming of a building of 150 apartments, 100 will take the money & move. Do a full, upscale renovation of the building & grounds, including some "clever" painting of the building transforming the dull huge red brick box building to something artistic (contests can be held with winners) & convert the large, well laid out apartments to condos - you do the math!

* Paint Buildings - how boring are most of the old neighborhoods and projects that were built. Lots of red brick boxes! Why not take each building in Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village and have each building represent a bird or a flower or a tree or something artistic that an artist can cover the entire building with their art and then people will walk into a environment of beauty and art and can say yes "I live in the bluebird building (Judy’s favorite bird) in Peter Cooper Village - where do you live? in the Bird of Paradise Building - Love it there!

My idea extends to all the NYCHA project buildings which I have already addressed as to a solution to make sure they’re all appropriately renovated and to create a substantial change in the population base.

My idea is to make NYC SO attractive, that people from all over the world will say - "Time to move to NYC, baby - so many good reasons including "Mayor Donnie"

Note - It's not clear what the cost of taking care of poverty is annually in NYC. One google search said it was 30% of the $115B budget which would be about $35B/yr. Taking the separate costs listed on google: Public Assistance - $2.6B; Housing - $13.5B; Food - $5B; Healthcare (?) - $5B; Child Casr - .$.5B brings me to a total of $26.6B. So, I'm going to take an average & say it costs NYC $30B/yr. to "to take care of" poverty.

And the "value of "lost revenue from middle class, upper middle class, wealthy & "Billionaire Class" who do not live here now is something someone much smarter than me will need to calculate. With NYC income taxes (estimate 1million additional wage earners w $100,000/yr income at a rate of 3.5%, this would generate 3.5e9 (?) or $3.5Billion in additional revenue for NYC.

They do not have to take the money but many will say "Sweetheart, we'll never see $35,000 ever again. in our lives - let's take the money & move in with your sister in Tuscaloosa - Yippee! What now? - A contract is signed between the tenant & NYC saying th tnant agrees to move within 6 months & once the apartment is inspeted & confirmed vacant (there wilkl be a secure new lock installed), a check or bank transfer will be made. The agreement will say "If the tenant does not move & vacate the residence within 6 months, there will be a $100 per day liquidated damages penalty which will be a money judgement against the non moving tenant. All will live up to the agreement.

I am withdrawing my idea of Community Living Centers as an altrnative to poverty & have a new, more direct plan outlined below.

I suggest Americas begin with the approximately 30,000 homeless vets for my idea involving about 600 tiny home to be manufactured by Elon Musk to go into my idea I created & call High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings (HRTHNHB's) High Rise Tiny Homes Neighborhood Buildings will be 20 story buildings with no walls on both sides for the top 15 floors. 36 tiny homes will be installed on each side facing, not a corridor, but a Street. Each will have 4 BR's - 2 in th front & 2 in the back with the entrance on the side & a 6=5 ft porch on the front. A "Neigborhood in th Sky".

There will be common dining rooms on the lower floors with 2 seatinsgs for each meal - 6 million meals a day! All meals will be frozen dinner style to allow the person to put uneaten food in a zip lock bag to microwave when desired. Those capable of working will work in th food prep for creating the 6 million meals a day. Drinks will be in small cardboard boxes with straws.

This is like my idea for High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Building (HRTHNHB's) in my "plan" for a Palestinian Homeland (all in section above, Each floor will have a street name conforming with that building’s “theme”. “I live on Bluebird Lane. I live on Shakespeare Road”, etc., etc & so forth.

At either end of each street will be a large terrace for siting "outdoors" with lots of seating & umbrellas, if needed.

Poor will have to apply to win the privilege of living in NYC & Win "A Distinguished Person of NYC"

For a poor person to get a NYC Debit Card with $1,000/mo an, application will have to be made. The cost of this for 300,000 who will be chosen is 300,000 times $1,500/yr or $150M.

As they move forward, they will be self sufficient & the $ will stop. They will each have a liaison who will check on thieir situation & progress. Starting using the $1,500 to buy a nice monthly supply of crack - sorry, buddy, the card is going to be blocked - no more $ 4 U.

Candidate 1 - I live in da Bronx & get up at 6 every morning to take a subway close to LaGuada airport & then a bus. I dress in dark slacks & a white shirt & help people with their luggage. No pension fund, no health care, but I make enough money to take care of myself" - "You're in!"

*Crime - as the population shifts, crime will come down dramatically. It is not the middle class who are out on the streets committing crimes ( killing!) - it is the poor!

* Housing Costs:

Housing costs is probably the most important financial aspect of people’s lives! And the security, or insecurity, they have about their “home” is of upmost importance in everyone’s life.

As Mayor I will do my best to implement the following changes:

Currently Decontrolled Apts (Any apt. in a building of 5 units or less, including 2 family homes)- This is a person’s home & they are entitled to know, except for replacing them with family, they can feel secure that they will be able to stay in their home. Reasonable, No?

Tenants can not be evicted unless the LL can prove a family member will move into the apt. It will be supported by an affidavit made by the LL & the relative/new tenant with proof of the relationship. It must be immediate family - not your 3rd cousin, twice removed! The "application" will to be heard & decided by The NYC Housing Court. If the affidavits turn to belies, the LL will be subject to a monetary judgement in favor of the "evicted" tenant who will be allowed, under penalty of the law, to be able to move back in, if desired. .

Application would have to be made no sooner than 1 yr in advance & if the LL is granted possession, the tenant will have up to 1 yr to move from the date of the order of the court. If the tenant does not move within 365 days, there will be daily penalties set by the court with money damages in favor of the LL.

When decontrol ends (not sure how to proceed with that - an Executive Order would be most efficient) rents would be set where they are at that time with the Rent Guidlines Board establishing increases every year for expired leases. The 1st determination will be 6 years away as the new “leases” will give tenants a 6 year lease with a step up, determined at he end of Decontroled at yr. 3.

Whet are now rent stabilized apartments will have the same rent & increase as described above. they will have the same guidelines. for “formally” decontrolled apts.

Apartments are homes & all are entitled to known they will not be thrown out of their home.

New LL-Tenant Housing Court - Abusive Behavior Devision

This will be a new part of the LL-Tenant Housing Court. My idea as Mayor is to make NYC as attractive as possible to attract a huge influx of middle class & upper middle class to NYC. LL Tenant relationships will be will be civil hertoforth & forever!

I was in Manhattan on August 1 and I must’ve seen 50 people sleeping on the sidewalk or on benches. I saw so many people opening doors with cups in their hands. I saw a groups of what look like a very unpleasant group hanging out together in the small parks, this is not the environment that makes people feel comfortable. People feel most comfortable with others who are similar to themselves not by skin color, but by the way, they carry themselves and behave

airbnb, vrbo - ++ - in any building of five or less apartments the landlord will have the right without consent from the other tenants to use any vacant apartments for AR B&Bs, or similar programs having affordable places for people to stay will attract many more people to New York, and the luxury hotels can be what they are intended to be, which is upscale and luxury not places to house homeless people.

In multifamily buildings, the landlord can make an application that will either be approved or disapproved (majority rules) by tenants on each floor if they have an apartment on that floor that they want to make an Airbnb or VRBO (or something similar). The tenants on that floor would have to approve it and in consideration for their approval, they will receive $ to be placed in an attorney’s escrow acct 15% of the gross income from the AIRBNB or Vrbo that. Funds deposited will be reported to the tenants on that floor every month and every year money will be distributed to the tenants on that floor, divided by the # of apts on that floor irrespective of apt size.

The 2 million poor population cost NYC 1/3 of its current annual budget each yr! Not sure of the cost to NYCState &/or the federal government

All rent increases will be set by The Rent Guidlines Board. There will be no Rent Control, No Rent Stabilization No Decontrolled Units! How abut them apples? It is all good - don't worry!

Rent Controlled Apts - It will be ended & all tenants will get a 6% increase each yr till 70% of market rent is reached then 6 year leases with a step up @ yr. 3 with increases determined by Rent Guidlines Board,

Rent Stabilized Apts - Same as Rent Controlled - then 6 yr lease w step up @ yr 3 - Rent Guidlines Bd sets increase every yr - tenant has lifetime rights & can pass to close relative - child, parent, sibling

Decontrolled Apts - Any building with 5 or less units, including 2 family houses. Tenants can not be evicted unless an immediat family memeber will live there. LL can make application to Rt GL Bd to get possession for the relative &/or loved one to live in that apt. Proof of relationship + an affidavit from the prospective replacement tenant to be presented to The RGL Bd. If it can be proved by the removed tenant that all was falsly presented, the LL & family memeber will be entitled to regain possession & a financial penalty in their favor, subject to collection, with the fine imposed by a judge in the newly formed LL - Tenant Abusive Part of The Housing Court.

The "Quality of Life" in NYC will improve dramatically as the homeless & poor go to Community Living Centers - to be built on inexpensive vacant land or in cities & towns that want that economic activity, will change for the better!

And a CLC will be a much better place for the poor (it will be "heaven" for the homeless) as they will work in a profit oriented business (mostly food prep for the 3,500 people in each HRTHNHB that will get 3 meals a day - 10,000 + meals a day are needed (all frozen meal style"). Or they get a degree of Certificate of Excellence n a field they are interested in to enable them to get a job anywhere in the world. There will also be "Caring For" CLC's for those who are not capable of working or getting an educational diploma or go to classes get a Certificate of Excellence. Oh well life will be good for them also!

The CLC's will follow the same format as the High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings presented in my proposal for creating a Palestinian Homeland - all in the 1st section above.

I am going suggest that EricAdams make an Executive Order to allow Vice Mayors. Is this "legal"?, moral?, even possible? Governing a City of more than 8 million requires as much support as you can get. I think after all the other candidates review my ideas - the basis being

25% of NYC's population is classified as poor. Do they contribute to the finances of NYC or take billions to get support? Throw them in the Hudson? No, my idea is called Community Living Centers (CLC's), They can be built on inexpensive vacant land &/or in cities that require revitalization, Ths "new" concept will offer the poor & homeless a better alternative than they have now.

My "plan" is to begin all over America with the 30,000 homeless vets. This is not so simple but I came up with a good idea. It requires Elon Musk being involved - BIG TIME! Time $ a nap - 3.20 am - got up 2 pee @ 2 & since I fell asleep at 8, was not tired.

People sitting on their porch can say hello to people strolling down the street “Good morning George & Martha - you’re looking real good this morning!” Kids can ride their bikes and play on the street and you can get to know your neighbor, unlike Liza Minnelli’s song “Ring Them Bells”.

Most tiny homes would have 4 rooms for singles (different for kids & couples) with a bathroom, small kitchen & dining table. Most will eat in 1 of the 3 Common Dining Rooms (1 kitchen) on floors 1 - 3. Residents will do cooking, cleaning +++. The bottom 3 floors will have the common dining rooms, emergency medical care, banks, a post office & administrative offices & ?

There will be a place for those capable to work in a profit oriented business - they will pd a stipend as they have few expenses - housing is free, food in the Common Dining Rooms is free, there will be free bus transportation. Health care will be covered by Medicaid.

For those who wish to, they can go to a “Learning Center” & get a HS equivalency degree, an Associates degree or even a 4 yr. degree. There will be “schools” from pre pre K - 12th grade + higher learning.

For those not capable of working or learning, some buildings will be “Caring For You” buildings.

Funding will come from wealthy individuals, corporations & governments. This can revolutionize America as young people, & others, who are disenfranchised and decide that they’re “better off” just getting a automatic weapon & going out and killing people and then killing themselves may very well find themselves satisfied in an environment like this where they have support for psychological issues and can be functioning human beings.

There will be amenities including an indoor & outdoor pool, tennis & pickle ball courts, parks + (?) & maybe even an amusement park! There will be theaters for those with acting talent & shopping in an European style Town Square.

Both of you had been very kind & caring 4 me with my many mood swings, “family” issues +++. I love u both for that. I belong to a Facebook group called spirituality and I got the most important lesson of my life about six months ago. It’s too bad I didn’t know it 70 years ago.

It said “Never have negative thoughts - negative thoughts create negative results”! Where did my depressions come from? Drinking sour milk - no from negative thoughts “Oh, I’m terrible because …. What if this or that happens?” As far as I know no one ever had a great depression. No one ever said “Oh what a wonderful depression I just had - I can’t wait for my next one! Stopping negative thoughts I found is actually very easy. I just make sure I never have a negative thought and, according to spirituality, the more positive your thoughts are the more likely you’re going to have positive results in your life.

So, I will continue to be positive about creating a Palestinian homeland & becoming Mayor of NYC. If I do not become Mayor, I think I may get an apartment in Manila,the Philippines. A nice one bedroom is about $200 a month and I can survive on that with just my Social Security and will not have to rely upon the help that Stuart and Steve have been so kind to give me over the last many years. But if I do become Mayor, the salary is $250,000, so that should “help out”.

I will not live in Gracie mansion. I will continue to live in my apartment which I love and I do my best work in the middle of the night naked so that wouldn’t work in City Hall. I don’t want to be known as “the mayor with no clothes”. I’ll have a meeting at 1 PM on Monday Wednesday and Friday and will have to delegate a lot of the different events that a Mayor generally attends. Gracie mansion will be used for allowing dignitaries, politicians, movie stars and other people of import as well as family (like the Kahan family) and friends to stay there. I am hoping my friend’s wife will be in charge of overseeing that as well as a weekly Judy Garland Shabbat Dinner that will begin with Shabbat songs, including one I just found that is fabulous called “It’s Shabbat Baby Shark”. All invited will be told that they can bring their children and grandchildren. The invites will go out about six weeks before each Shabbat so they will have time to work together to make this very joyous presentation. Typical Shabbat songs will be sung with sheets giving the transliteration of Hebrew songs, then the Shabbat “service” a Shabbat meal and then a Judy Garland sing-along. He na ma Tov va ma nii emm, shevet la cheem gam ya had … (here we sit together and peace and harmony). The Shabbat dinner will be held whether I am town or not. I plan to do extensive traveling to “promote” NYC!

I am going suggest the other candidates endorse my ideas & my mayoral campaign - "Your ideas, "Mayor Donnie" envision what we also want for NYC - hard to argue with you!" For the top 3 candidates, I will allow them them any position in the Administration they desire.

I will appoint Vice Mayors to help me run the City (I need all the help I can get!). They will receive a salary equal to mine - $125 billion per year is what I am proposing - I know, sounds greedy - all right, all right - a measly $750,000 yr. Not to worry, NYC's annual budge is $112 billion. Like aI used to. say as a kid playing monopoly - "I think i WILL buy Boardwalk - it's just chickenfeed to me!" I was never richer then when I owned all that property with hotels (1 was The Rellim!) & houses & lots of 100 dollar bills - Oh, to be rich again! It's really not all that great! - A nice Shabbat dinner with family & friends is heads & heels over our RICH.

*My most important idea is 4 the creation of a Palestinian homeland. Once Elon Musk calls me, it can all be done in about 2 years - ONLY by Elon Musk! The concept is above but to sum it up, to house 2 million people is not a call to Century 21! It requires Elon Musl manufacturing about 600,000 tiny homes with 4 rooms in each - a common dining room on the lower floors of the approximately 500 High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhoods (HRTHNH) to be built.

25% of NYC’s population is classified as poor. I was "shocked" when Mr. Google told me that. NYC spends 1/3 of its total budget supporting the poor! Oy Veh - get me an extra large egg cream & a sedative! NOW!

A turnover in NYC to mostly middle class will have a massive positive impact on NYC in the billions of new income & RE taxes! Many amenities will be offered so the middle class all over the world flock to the New NYC!

Rents will come down as there will be a hugh increase in apartments

vacated by the poor - NYCHA +++. Now vacant office buildings will fill up as corporations want to be in NYC to hired all those brilliant people who now live here!

Poverty can be taken care of in my High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings concept (HRTHNH). they will be Community Living Centers (CLC's). This would better serve the poor & homeless.

HRTHNHB CLC's would be built on inexpensive, vacant land, or in cities that require revitalization & want this economic activity.

They do not have to be on NY State land. An “arrangement” can be made by NYS to properly compensate the State where the prior NYC residents are moving to the HRTHNHB CLC.

As the place to "move the homeless & poor (25% of NYC's population is classified as poor), Community Living Centers (CLC's)s will be built on vacant inexpensive land &/or in cities that require revitalization. My basic premise is:

"It does not make sense to "take care of" poverty in what is some of the most expensive real estare in the world". CLC's would betters serve this poor & homeless population. In all America, I suggest beginning with the approximately 30,000 homeless vets (more tiny homes for Elon to build - TYVM, Elon)

My idea for a Palestinian Homeland & NYC require ELON MUSK - ONLY Elon Must cn build the 600,000 tiny homes & 500 High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings (HRTHNEB'S) needed 4 both.

It will look good on his resume!

High Rise Tiny Home Neighborhood Buildings:

18 story buildings will be built with open walls on both sides. This will allow for installation of 36 Elon Musk's tiny homes on each side on floors 4 - 18. The hallways will as wide as a street to be used by kids to ride bikes & other fun "street" games & for strolling. All tiny homes will have a parch on the front. "Good morning George & Martha - you're looking mighty good this morning - good to see you again!" Not like Liza Minnelli's brilliant ong "Ring Them Bells" - youtube it!

Most tiny homes will have 4 rooms with a bathroom, kitchen & table. The entrance will be on the side with 2 rooms ins the front & 2 in the back with the bathroom, kitchen & table in the middle at thee entrance. 3/4 size beds (takes double sheets) will be in each room with a place to hang clothes, a dresser & easy chair.

Each tiny home will have a porch on the front so it is now like a neighborhood (in the sky). "Good mornin' George & Martha - so good to see you this loverly morning," There will be different layouts for families.

The bottom 3 floors will have 3 common dining rooms with 1 common kitchen. There will be 2 (or 3) seatings for each meal - not easy feeding about 3,500 people in each HRTHNHB. There will an Emergency Medical Care location, banks, a post office, laundry facilities & storage for cleaning (+) as well as administrative offices . Residents will fill most of these jobs.

In what I call "New Palestine", King Charles can choose the architecture of building exteriors. He is proud of Poundbury - the new town he built in England. He likes traditional architecture. He believers it is "more soothing to the soul", I agree. He can have contests with architects to design: traditional, Art Deco, Art Mondern or any new form or "traditional" looking building.

In common areas, both in New Palestine & the CLC's built in America (& an anywhere in the world, there will be baby care - 12th grade schools, higher education & places to get a Certificate of Excellence so they can. get a job anywhere in the world. Your tiny homes can play a major role in rebuilding Gaza to become what I call “New Palestine”. In addition, for my Working Community Living Center concept, you should be able to provide different types of work.

Why King Charles you ask? My idea is that “New Palestine” will be part of The Commonwealth. This will assure no aberrant leader comes in and takes over and decides he wants to kill all of the Jews. In addition, King Charles can be instrumental in the rebuilding of Gaza to New Palestine. He had built the city of Poundbury in England. His philosophy is that people feel most comfortable with traditional architecture. I agree!

Your tiny homes could go into multi storied buildings, which is a new idea of mine. The back & front of the buildings would be open & the tiny homes would be inserted. The exterior of the building can be in a traditional style. The hallways will be wide. People will have a porch that faces the hallway and now people will get to know their neighbors! “Good morning”! Palestinians will go from living in squalor to living in a comfortable environment, where they have their own small kitchen, even if in a room.

The letter is addressed to King Charles & Prince William because my ideas of creating a Palestinian Homeland in what I call "New Palestine" is that the new country will be part of The Commonwealth - this will assure no aberrant leader comes in & says "I decided I want to kill all the Jews".

England has an important & storied history with the creation of Israel & all the land in this "neighborhood. It signed The Balfour Declaration in 1927 declaring "Palestine" as the future homeland for the Jews. Before Israel became a State (It was named Israel by the UN in '48 because that is how the land is referred to in the Bible), Jews at Holiday meals & at a Friday Night Shabbat Dinner would raise their glasses & say together "Next year in

Palestine". Golda Meir, the 1st Prime Minister of Israel, who moved there in 1921, she said "I got a Palestinian passport - Arabs were Palestinians & Jews were Palestinians. She moved with her husbank to Kibbutz Merhavyah I hope to have an audience with Pope Leo in February (I have a $460 round trip to Rome in February) to discuss working with King Charles to, finally, give the Palestinians a "homeland". Yea!

My "Love Affair" with NYC

Crossing 8th Ave When I was 8 to go to theater - "Mom, they don't have girls like this in St. Pete"

Dragging me along "Come along Donnie, come along!" I have had a "love affair" with NYC since I was a kid. I grew up in St. Pete, Fla & when school was out, my mom would drive us up to be with her sister who lived in Mamaroneck. She would take me into the City to see a show & I was "hooked"! We would park to the West of 8th Ave & crossing 8th, I would see these "creatures". My 1st show was Damn Yankees with Gwen Verdon.

Note - I am a write in candidate running as a Democrat - I am writing a book "I Will Never Understand a Republican". Why do they cringe at helping those less fortunate than themselves. Why do they like taking from the poor & giving to the rich - I think it must be a mental disorder. When I am the my doctor's office & they come to take my blood pressure, I tell them "you don't have to bother taking my blood pressure - I am a Republican - I don't have a heart!" Some laugh & some leave confused. Huh?

My ideas for NYC include the following.

* Convert all NYCHA (NYC Housing Authority) buildings to condos, after offering tenants $35,000 to move (not obliged to take). It would start with the worst NYCHA building that would be totally renovated & made "upscale" after being vacated by the projected 100 tenants who will take the money. "Sweetheart, we will never see $35,000 again in our lifetime - let's take the money& move to ??" Each converted building will create about $???? in new revenue for the City from Income taxes paid & condo RE Taxes paid. In addition there will be significant savings in not supporting the 100, mostly welfare tenants, who left. I project that in building with 150 apartments, approximately 100 of the existing tenants will take the $35,000. The value of the 100 apartments to be sold will be approximately $120 million for each building (there are many 2 & 3 BR apartments in NYCHA buildings - all large & well laid out). This will more than cover all upfront costs & the cost of a full renovation. If each apt has 1 1/2 working people making $100,000 yr at a NYC, with the income tax rate being an amt of $3,300 + almost 4% of salary, each apt. will generate $600,000/yr, or $6 million per building.in additional income tax reenue. RE tax revenue for 100 apartments valuesd t 45% of $1,2 million or an assessed value of $540,000 at the tax rate of 3.8% will generate approximatly $20,520/ yr. per apt for a total of approximately

$2,052,000 a year. The total of Income tax revenue & RE Taxes for a NYCHA building with 100 apartments sold will be approximately $122 million. There are 177,000 NYCHA apartments in NYC housing approximately 520,000 people. If 2/3 of the tenants in each building moved, the total projected income for NYC after all the buildings are converted (about a 10 year project) would be about ALOT of $. Will work on it - getting breakfast now!

*Times Square Should Be About Broadway & Theaters, not The Naked Cowboy & His "Buddies" (Mickey,Minnie - all them guys)! Discount TKTS, & future performance @ full priced ticket or a discount (if that is ok with the theater) will be sold by "uniformed" TKTS employees. Short performances from Broadway & off Broadway shows will be held in North & South Times Sq. every 1/2 hour (for 10 minutes). Times Square will be "rezoned" to allow only sanctioned people, in costume, to sell TKTS. All the other "creatures" can ply their trade on the side streets & 42nd St.

* NYC will have defined neighborhood with defined boundaries. Community Boards will cover a group of neighborhoods. This allows for a more efficient government!

*To begin with homeless vets - Community Living Centers (CLC's) will be established on cheap NY State land or in cities that want this new economic stimulus, Poverty should not be taken care of in th most expensiv real esate in the world. NYC will work with NY State to create CLC's. Each CLC will house approximately 1,500 people & it will begin with the homeless vet population then go to the homeless. Each CLC will give the "member" good living space. There will be common dining rooms. There will be 3 types of CLC's:

1- A Working CLC where the "member" will work in a profit oriented business - it could be anything from no soil farming to a call center ti lots of other possibilities. Each "member" will receive a monthly stipend of approximately $300. They have basically no expenses - no cost of housing, nocost of food & no transportation costs. There

* All subway stations & entrances will be renovated with artistic designed entrances & all stations repainted in colorful ways with lots of art. It will be paid for by "donors" with recognition signs. All platforms will have multiple areas on each side with floor to ceiling thick clear plastic strips with heating & a/c! Yippee!

* Paint all the red brick box buildings in NYC designed by differnent artists. Like in Stuyvesant Town, each building could be a different bird. This would make it beautiful & increase values. "I live in the Bluebird Building". in Peter Cooper Village, they buildings could be different flowers. "I live in The Gardenia building".

* Have an annual theater/dance/opera outing for all NYC students starting with kindergarten & going through the 2nd yer of a Community College. They would be performed by "alternative" actors & dancers & given on a Monday, Tueesay, Thursday or Friday matinees

* Increase the number of free Community & 4 year colleges. Residnets will be able to attend for free. This will greatly increase dmand for middle class to move to NYC

* Build a high rise with many Las Vegas style theaters to bring more concerts, singers, Cirque du Soliels & other performers & performances to NYC. Many will establish full time residencies. Who would rather have a ful time performance residence in NYC rather than Las Vegas? So many!

* Right hand turns will be allowed at any intersection where it is deemed to not be dangerous

* The Subway app will not have NO advertising. This does not allow finding subway info.

* NYC maps will be created that show streets with the subway stations easy to find.

* Speed cameras will move up the ticketed speeds to 40 mph. I used to get 3 a month from the downward hill near my house. You have to concentrate on going less then 35 mph with no traffic or on a hill! This is not an importnt source of income for the City.

* There will be "English Police" who will work with people to learn English - what a "foreign" concept - speaking English in America! People will be encouraged to learn English by using their phone (free - google Chineese / Spanish / Whatever to English. There will be "walk in" classes all day in many locations throughout the city. There is a new Chineese grocery story near me on Northern Blvd & Marathon Parkway (across from Mc D's). There is a huge Chinese population in this areast now. I went into that Chineese grocery & no one spoke English - not the manager, none of the employees & none of the customers. I left!

* Opposite side of the street parking will end! Only once a month. Go look at any street after the cars have moved & before Sanitation has come - they are clean!

* Garbage bins will be discontinued with different colored plastic bags (large or small) used for different types of garbage. All the details are below (somewhere)

* In Manhattan & other "urban" neighborhoods, there will be artistically designed containers (about 1/2 the size) on the side walk, or the street, to allow garbage to be put in, in different colored bags, on the sidewalk side with openings on the street side for Sanitation. They will have seasting z(no sleeping), planter boxes & places to put notices. I will be a gathering place for peeople in the neighborhoo with out door seating & food trucks. Each block wil have 2 or 3, depending on the sie of the population

* A new form of housing, I created, will be apartment style buildings with full openings on either sides. Tiny homes will be placed on each side creating a "neighborhood" on each floor. Some tiny homes will not be so tiny with 2 floors. This will be a cheap way to create lots of new housing with a new living concept where you will actually get to know your neighbor - how radical! Like Liza Minelli sings - she meets her next door neighbor overseas & marries him, I think. I forgot the name of the song but it is part of her Emmy winning TV show - Liza with a Z. Youtube it - it's wonderful! As is Liza (& her mama, Judy Garland - the love of my life!). I am a Judy Garland addict - but, not to worry, I start rehab soon!

* Rename The Palace Theater to The Judy Garland Palace Theater. She has an historic & storied history with The Palace. It was renovated for her in 1951 when her soon to be 3rd husband, Sid Luft was in Times Square he saw it was vacant. It was vacant & abandoned for 20 years since 1931 when it closed because of the depression. He had just started his "relationship" with Judy - she just divorced Vincint Minnelli. He knew Judy was the most popular & beloved movie star of her day. She recently ended her "relationship" with MGM a after making more than 40 movies. He wanted to get her "back on her feet" & knew the owner of The Palace. He called & said "why don't you renovate the theater & Judy Garland will sing there". He siad "good idea" & she performed for 40 weeks - 2 shows a day, all sold out, all rave reviews. Big crowds came to Broadway just to get a glimpse of Judy! * End zoning - it is antithetical to progress. Paris, London & many cities in Texas have no zoning! In Paris, I have been told, you can put whatever you want in an existing building. In NYC, similiar stuctures could be built where desired. If a neighborhood has single family homes, they can be built in what might now be zoned commercial (like on many avenues in the boroughs). After a legal "announcement" of the proposed new construction, neighbors within a 1/4 mile radius would have the right to protest the new construction. Open meetings would be held to discuss the idea. It could be cancelled with a majority vote of this group, or modified. Democracy reigns not only on rainy days!

* There would be a new Department of Signs & Directions. People could report missing or misleaing signs. This would be investigated & corrected, as necessary.

4 - I am proposing The Palace Theater be renamed "The Judy Garland Palace Theater". She has a "historic" & storied history with the Palace Theater. After being abandoned for 20 years, Sid Luft, Judy's soon to be 3rd husband, was in Times Square. It was 1951 & he saw the theater was abandoned. It had been vacant & abandoned for 20 years, since 1931 when it closed due to the pressures of the depression. He called the owner, who he knew & said "Why don't you renovate the theater & Judy Garland will sing there. The owner said "Good idea". She had shows for 40 weeks, 2 shows a day, all sold out all rave reviews. Large crowds came to Broadway just to get a glimpse of Judy Garland. She was the highest paid, most beloved, most popular movie star of her day. John Kennedy ame to the Oening Night & "fell in love with her" (everyone does - hard not to). He started calling her once a week to just say "hello" & would always ask her to sing part of Over the Rainbow. She spent a month at The Kennedy Compound on Cape Cod 1 summer with her 3 childlren - she litterly had to "sing for her supper". She cmpaigned for Kennedy when heer ran for President. she was in the White House often. They had a love affair - probaby the only one JFK ever had!

I sent a letter to Elton John asking him to write a theme song, perhaps incorporating it with her orchestral intro. I have also asked if he & his husband, David Furnish, would like to produce the shows. Or maybe Barbra Streisand would like to - she & Judy were "tight". I will also asked Susan Stromann do the sets & choreography. I read she is interested in new & often young choreographers. She could use differnet ones for The Judy Garland Highlights shows. So many of Judy’s songs in the Highlight shows could have new choreographers present their work. A good example is the song she sang in one of her early movies "Got a Pair of New Shoes". That would be exciting with contemporary choreography. Duets with Judy by the famous & less than famous would be wonderful. The audience could sing along after the duet is sung. Who would want to o a duet with Judy? Would Barbra redo their spectacular uet "Get Happy". Would Barry Manilow come? I am proposing that Liza Minnelli and Lorna left can show up for any show whether it be a life story show or a highlight show to take over part in the show or to sing with their mama and sing by themselves also. They will get paid as all the other people who show up and that would be union wage the actor or actress who was supposed to play the part that night will either play another part or sit out and get paid. This will create a new excitement on Broadway not knowing who is gonna show up for one of the highlight shows. People can know what is in that show in advance. For example, it could be a highlight show. Just using Judy Garland show number three and people could listen to that show before they come to Broadway and familiarize themselves with some of the songs that will be in the show as sing-alongs. I’ll have to look at show number three myself to see which songs might be appropriate for that particular show, but like I said it is unlimited. The interview with Liza Minnelli is something remarkable and the interview is on the left is also quite telling about Judy Garland’s life and interest, forcing the interviews with songs and duets and dances I think would be very entertaining.

I am also proposing that the retail store created when they raised the palace theater to create that valuable retail space should be used as a Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz showroom selling all the Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz products that are out there.

I suggest that the Judy Garland story went told be told either in a live performance or by video by John Frickey, who I call Mr. Judy Garland he knows everything about that woman and his presentation is something that would be a asset to both Of Life story and her highlight shows. He has written many books on Judy Garland as well as books on the Wizard of Oz.

I am so enthusiastic about this idea. I think it may be a huge blockbuster where there might even be two theaters having Judy Garland highlight shows and maybe just in the palace theater the Judy Garland life story would play every day matinee and evening and another theater would have Judy Garland highlights. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how strong demand is, but I know once you get to know this woman and listen to her. It’s hard to stop. She has a unique ability of transcending time and space when you watch your thing on video even though she’s been dead for 60 years somehow you feel like she is singing just to you and you actually develop connection with her and as you get to know about her life, you become very sympathetic to her as a human being very enthusiastic about her as her humanity was remarkable on many levels on so many levels with so many stories although that can be part of Judy Garland highlights it really can go on forever and what pleasure there would be in creating different highlight chose And having new talent come to perform with her and having old talent come to perform with her.

Oh boy, I’m so excited. There are so many Judy Garland mixes and playlist on YouTube that just a few songs from each of these can be a highlight show. I just came across a YouTube blah blah blah that has his number videos often times I’ll put the news on and listen for a few minutes because that’s about all my Nervous system can take and then I put onto Judy Garland and often times she is singing to me when I wake up because there’s so many songs in the playlist in the mixes that I can now say that I truly slept with Judy Garland you can too. Like I tell everyone how can you find a woman who is so easy to get along with and always sings to you whenever you ask her to and her voice isn’t so bad either I guess the one unique thing about listening to Judy Garland is a very rarely hear a song that’s less than wonderful. My most important idea is my "plan" for peace between Israel & The Palestinians giving them a homeland by the creation of what I call "New Palestine". It would be part of The Commonwealth to assure no aberrant leader comes in & says "Oh my - I decided to kill all the Jews!" A 2nd new country would be created changing The West Bank to JudiaSamaria. 2 or 3 areas in what is now The West Bank would become State or Provines of New Palestine. * Converting NYCHA (NYC Housing Authority - all big red brick boxes) from mostly welfare. Starting with the worst building, tenants will be offered $25,000 to move - they are not obliged to take the $, but many will. When the tenants who take the $ move (6 mo to move - penalties if they do not - $ put in an attorney’s escrow account to be released after verification of the unit being vacant (lock immediately changed), the City & State will do a full renovation of the bldg - elec., plumbing, remove lead paint, sheet rocking as necessary, new elevators, new roof, pointing, creating upscale lobbies, hallways & landscaping (with trees & seatings).

There would be “contests” to have artists prepare a plan to paint each building in an artistic way. No more red brick box buildings! Ugh!

Then apts will be sold as condos. NYCHA apartments are large & well laid out. With new kitchens, bathrooms & central a/c in each apartment, they will be desirable places to live. The city does not have to get maximum value as the transfer of the middle & upper middle class population of people who pay income tax & RE tax will, in the end, bring billions to the city. Let’s do the math. There are approximately 175,000 NYCHA apts in NYC. If, in the end 100,000 move the city saves tons of money - no welfare, no Section 8, no medical, no nothing! Not even counting the savings. If each new tenant - most will have 2 adults so I’ll say 1 1/2 tax payers for each apt - that’s 150,000. If each makes $100,000, they would pay income tax @ 12% to NYC (conservative), that is 150,000 x $12,000 = approximately $180,000 million a yr in income tax for 1 building!If each apt is fully valued at $400,000 (conservative) @ had an assessed value for RE taxes of $160,000 with a tax rate of 12%, the math, for the 1st building, is 100 units x ($160,000 x 12% = approx $18,000/yr per apt so 100 units x $18,000/yr = $1.8 million. Maybe they should be exempt for a period to increase sales prices!

If it is estimated that, in the end 100,000 units “turn over” with 1 1/2 people per unit & a projected NYC income tax paid, this would generate (100,000 x 1 1/2 working persons per apt = 150,000 “tax payers” x $18,000/yr NYC tax = $2.7 Billion additional annual income. NYC’s budget now is $107 billion, so an extra $2.7 billion won’t hurt & so much of NY will be converted from red brick boxes to something beautiful. Maybe Stuyvestown would paint each building as a flower - “We live in The Gardena Building” & Peter Cooper Village will pain each building for a bird - “We live in The Bluebird Building”. More red brick box building to something of beauty!

* Community Living Centers (CLC's) A Workable Solution to Homelessness,The Shelter System & an Alternative for the Poor & for "disinfranchised" youth who, rather than buying an AR15 & "going to school", get the love & support they did not get at home!

My idea s a practical solution to begin to end homelessness & the shelter system. My “vision” is to begin with the approx 30,000 homeless Vets in America. Units will be in a wide range of structures. Anything from a high rise to tiny homes.

My idea is to build CLCs on vacant, inexpensive, land or in cities that need revitalization or just want a CLC in their city. Why take care of poverty in the most expensive REcin America - NYC?cMy plan involves construction of CLCs as condominiums. Units will be purchased by CLC sponsors. This could include a wide range. Maybe 1 or 2 “Oprah Winfrey CLC), by Corporations, the wealthy - individual units or as a full CLC Sponsor. Even with 1 sponsor, the CLC will still be built as condo units so the sponsor can decide what they want to do. Governments may be sponsors too. Units would be bought with a down payment with the balance at closing. They are condos, so a mortgage can be taken out. This will help pay for the construction.

Medical systems where the CLC is being built will be involved to set up all the medical needs. The “member” will live there and then the sponsor may eventually sell it or even give it to the previously homeless.

I propose each CLC will have 300 - 500 “members” (that means about 100 CLC's just for homeless viets!) & units would be built for homeless, families & “outsiders” who want to live in a CLC.

CLCs would be built as high rises, mid rise, 2 story &/or tiny homes (Elon Musk shows tiny homes for $15,000). Larger units & homes would be built for those described above. There would be a common dining room where members would share cooking, cleaning, maintenance, etc. Each unit would have its own kitchen also.

There would be 4 types of CLCs:

1 - A Working CLC where members would work in a profit oriented business. It could be anything from non soil farming tp cottage industries. Members would receive a weekly stipend (about $300). Their housing, food & transportation is taken care of by the CLC.

2 - Learning CLCs where members would get a degree or a Certificate of Excellence in a specialized field . This should allow them to get a job anywhere in the world.

3 - A Caring For CLC if the member did not fit into 1 or 2

4 - A Retirement CLC for old farts like me

5 - An Intake CLC (only at the beginning of that CLC) to determine where that new “member” should go.

I lived in Israel (’84 - ’87) & spent much time on the kibbutz where my wife’s cousins lived - Kibbutz Bachan. I have fond memories of how wonderful life was for these financially poor Argentinians who immigrated to Israel when it became a State. Herbert Hoover promised “a chicken in every pot” - I promise Matza Ball Soup for every household! Everyone who votes for me will get a jar of Matzo Ball Soup. I have to figure how I will do this. I think each person who voted for me will confirm that on a form with someone sitting outside the voting area. They will provide their name, address for shipping, their email address & phone number. Maybe I’ll have 1,000 jars at each voting place to give to the 1st 1,000 people. There are 18 million people in NYC & if a large number of voters turn out to vote for me, I may need to ship 3 or 4 million jars of Matzo Ball Soup. Oy veh! I will not need money for my campaign as I will talk & tell about & explain all my ideas & people will listen. But I will need millions to get all those jars of Matzo Ball Soup out.

I am sure I would make the best choice for Mayor of New York City for the current residents, future residents, the financial situation of NYC & NY State encouraging new corporate relocations to NYC because of the huge number of highly qualified residents.

While in office I hope to accomplish the following:

1 - To stay alive! Hard to accomplish much when dead. Well, actually, I am a big believer in spirituality and how the spirit world can create events & happenings on earth.

2 - Proceed with implementing my idea to transform New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) buildings. Start with the worst building. Tenants would be offered $25,000 to move. They’re not obliged to take it but many will take $25,000 and say, sweetheart let’s go back and live with mama in Alabama. We’ll never see $30,000 again! Then the city & the state will totally renovate the building - all new plumbing, electric, pointing, remove lead paint, install a new roof with a Roof Garden, new elevators, pointing, renovated lobby, halls, lighting, landscaping & paint the buildings in an artistic way. The outside of the building will be re-landscaped with upscale landscaping and seating.

The vacant units will be sold as condos. The prices will be reasonable as the new middle class & upper middle class tenants will pay income tax & RE tax to the City. This will bring in a huge new middle and upper class middle population to New York because the city doesn’t really need to mak. They want to just increase the economic status of the people living in New York, who will contribute to the city of New York by paying

This process of converting all the NYCHA housing to private condos will continue building by building and become a major impact on the future of New York City by replacing mostly poor people who generally pay no taxes & cost the city & State lots of $ to a middle class & upper middle class tenancy that will pay income tax & RE tax & not need financial help from the City,

3 - New York City would be redefined in with specific boundaries for all the different neighborhoods. The combination of neighborhoods would become the Community Boards that now exist. This way, like in Paris, it is much easier to control and change things when they’re done on a basis like this. Members of Community Boards will represent the residents of the neighborhoods they represent.

4 - Make Times Square About NYC Broadway Shows NOT Mickey & Minnie Mouse (I heard Mickey is having a gay relationship with Pluto - Minnie says “I will be like Jacquiline Kennedy, be dignified & just live with it - I’m just happy he never ‘played’ with Jeffrey Epstein. That’s a dead issue now”

Times Square is About Broadway & Theaters:

Sorry, Mickey and Minnie and the naked cowboy, and all the other characters that are throughout Times Square soliciting tourists to take their picture and then bothering them for money, have NOTHING to do with Broadway or Times Square.

New York City needs to pass an ordinance that only allows people sanctioned by Broadway or off Broadway theaters to be in Times Square to solicit. These other characters can be relegated to the side streets to ply their trade.

No more TKTS Booth & Waiting in line, sometimes up to 1 hr. FINISHED!

1 - What I propose are TKTS people, dressed in a special TKTS outfits, would carry a hand held device to sell TKTS at the discount for that day and to sell future tickets at full price. They would be able to take the credit card on the machine and to send a QR code, or barcode, to the customer as their ticket. This should increase sales dramatically because it makes it easy to buy tickets. You don’t have to wait on line at TKTS. You don’t have to pay a service fee at one of the brokers online you don’t have to go to the theater. You just have to go to Times Square and find a TKTS live human being representative. No so difficult! I recommend the GoDaddy smaller handheld device.

4 - End opposite side of the street parking. If you go out and look at the street after all the cars have moved & before the garbage trucks have come, they are clean. Why are we inconveniencing so many New Yorkers with this stupid old process. I suggest that the opposite side of the street parking be once every two months and that homeowners and property owners will be responsible for keeping the street and the sidewalk clean.

5 - Move forward with architects and community planners to start working on creating artistic presentations to the hundreds of the red brick buildings that exist in New York City our lively how beautiful how uplifting buildings are if they are attracted to the eye, there’s nothing particularly attractive about a red brick box building.

6 - This will change America beginning with housing the approximately 30,000 homeless vets. This is a “National & International” idea & is instrumental in idea for peace between Israel & the Palestinians with the creation of New on the national level and a local level gor what I call community living centers (CLC’s). CLC’s would be built either in cities that require vitalization and need revitalization or on vacant inexpensive land New York City is not the best place for a community living center, but it certainly would work on getting rid of the homeless population in New York and putting them in a community living center probably some places in upstate New York maybe even Buffalo, which does require revitalization and could use an economic simulation the idea for community living centers is that there would be built as condominiums so people would buy a condo. It would have his own kitchen. They would mostly be studios one bedroom for families are two bedrooms or three bedrooms for families they could be in low rise mid rise, high riser, tiny home facilities. There would also be larger units built for people who don’t want to live permanently in the community living center, but wanna have their own place there to participate in the community living center environment. There would be a working community living center where people would work in a property in a business it could be anything from farming and using some of the new farming techniques I guess where you grow things in greenhouses to cottage industries to call centers there’s a whole myriad of things people can do and learn how to do quickly. They won’t get paid as if they’re on a job you’ll get a stipend from the community living center. Their housing is free although they’ll be a kitchen every unit they’ll be common in dining rooms where most people will wanna eat so the members have no we’re very little cost for food basically no cost for transportation because transportation will be provided by the community living center so they’ll get a state maybe five or $600 a month that they can use for whatever personalities they have the second type of community living center would be a learning community living center where people would go to get a associates degree a high school equivalently degree a bachelors degree a masters degree maybe even a doctorate who knows, but after completing that they are independent, they could go out and earn a living anywhere in the world the third type of community living center would be a caring for community living center. This would be for people who don’t get into either or working or learning community community center then there be a retirement community center for old parts like myself will appropriately name at the old fire community living center. Don’t worry it won’t smell then they’ll be an intake center most of the operations of a community living center and maintenance will be handled by members of the community center as the units are condos the owners of the unit and it may be that some very wealthy people just buy all the units and name at the Oprah Winfrey community living center, which might have six or 700 members and have 700 total units. Of course I’ll be common facilities needed and the health needs of members of the community living centers will be addressed according to where the community living center is built. Let’s say some rich guy decides to buy one unit while he get sick his pinky up in the air until all his friends were a great guy he is he just thought an apartment where homeless man is gonna live in the program his pants and tell everyone kiss his ass, but he can decide what he wants to do with that real estate and they go up and value and they want to sell it, you may want to give it to the homeless person or may just want to keep it as an asset to give to his children. The cost of the community living centers if the entire center is not donated by one person in which case they would pay for the cost of construction of the common area administration buildings building with a common dining room and all the other facilities that might be there, including indoor and outdoor pools tennis courts Pickleball court shuffleboard Archery maybe even a driving green something that everyone at the community living center can enjoy doing in this spare time.

7 - The garbage situation in NYC is a mess!

a - End the use of bins to be replaced with different color garbage bags that can be purchased in different sizes. The bins are inconvenient for everyone. The homeowner has to take it out & bring it back & the amount of garbage may be more than the bin holds. The garbage men don’t like it because it is often an effort to pull the bags out of the bins - no one likes them. I am suggesting large, medium or small different color bags can be purchased as follows:

Green bags - Plastic

Blue bags - metal, including cans

Yellow bags - paper & small boxes

(Cardboard boxes could be left out on recycling day as boxes or made flat w tape to hold them together. They would not go into any bags)

Clear bags - compost

Did I forget something?

For mid rise & high rise residential areas & commercial areas, I propose:

Large 1/2 size containers be place in various locations on bike lanes or on the street. Each will be artistic designed by an artist who won a contest as the best design. There will be thousands throughout the City. There will be different openings on the sidewalk side for different types of garbage to be put in with openings on the street side for the garbage men to take the garbage out. There would be places that were protected with a clear covering to put notices, ie:

“Have you seen my dog, Spot?”

“Computer for Sale”

8 - There would be a new law encouraging people to learn English! How many people, including Uber & Lyft taxi drivers say “No English”. I told an Uber driver from China once “Turn left”. He had no clue what I was saying & kept going straight. You can not force something to learn English, unless the employer forced them to. Anyone can learn English for free on their phone but so many don’t bother. If there were “English Language Police” who monitored people & their progress, this might be an inducement.

9 - Times Square I have what I think are some good ideas for Times Square, & Broadway theaters. How are they doing in “The Age of Trump”? Although I haven’t been in the city recently, I did get a post showing no one in Times Square. I don’t know if that’s the situation now. That people are just afraid, especially someone who wasn’t born in America. Best to stay home. I agree!

I was always enamored by Broadway and Times Square when I was a kid my mother would drive me up after school was out to visit my cousin and her sister in my neck often we would come into theater and she would park on the west side of eighth Avenue And as we’re crossing eighth Avenue I would say to her mom they don’t have girls like this in St Pete and she would be dragging my hand saying come along Donnie come along the first show I saw was Gwen Verdon and Damn Yankees I was hooked!

You know how difficult it is to find a woman who is so essy to get along with & who sings to you whenever you want! ONLY Judy Garlabd. Frank Sinatra said "100 years after I die, no one will remember me - 500 years after Judy Garland dies, people will still be listening to & "studying" her." I call her "The Beethoven of Popular Music". I am a Judy Garland addict - but, not tooo worry, I start rehab soon.

The reason for the image is The Rellim Hotel (what is Miller spelled backwards?), built by my grandparents Jack & Harriet Miller) wass on St. Pete Beach (Pass-a-Grille). It is the most endearing image I could think of. The history of the Hotel & my relationship with my family who would all come each year for a family reunion at Christmas time, is below under Miller Family Reunions. The hotel had been sold, but we still have the Miller Family Reunion each yr. for MFR'23 there were about 80 people - cousins (11 & Aunt Marilyn, the only surviving parent - 93!) & their families. The Commonwealth will govern New Palestine so there is no chance that if a leader comes in, or one that takes over the government (like Hamas), that wants to invade Israel, kill all the Jews & destroy Israel. The Commonwealth will be an effective & safe governing body. New Palestine will be rebuilt as a Community Living Center (see #4) to allow the Palestinians to become functioning members of the new Palestine. So she conspired with er orchestra leader to sing it at the end of a show & did not put it on the playlist given to CBS execs. I read that before she sang it she said "This is for you Jack". This effects the supply of housig & real estate prices are supply & demand & since this has significantly reduced supply & demand is strong, prices have gone up & many can not afford a house.

How To Get Some Attention for Israel Palestinian Peace

My Idea For Israeli Palestinian Peace w Creation of NewPalestine & JudiaSamaria Makes Sense - No?

I decided it would be best if "New Palestine" was part of The Commonwealth as his would insure no aberrant leader took over & decided to destroy Iarael! So going to King Charles seemed to be the way to go. Never heard from him. England DOES have a history with Israel & the land.

I’m a bit miffed. I was so excited about my idea. I thought that everyone would just jump up and down with joy and say we found a solution to all the problems in Gaza and with the Palestinians and creating a state and what to do with the West Bank and how to make sure that Hamas is eliminated.

I sent out about 75 letters that were addressed to King Charles and Prince William to many world leaders and included a nice multi the one that’s in the section below. I got zero response.

It seems Netanyahu is only interested in taking back all the land of Gaza for Israel & will try to have the Palestinains move somewhere. Maybe LA! Stupid. I know he is under a lot of pressure from the religious right, but, hey, the Palestinians have been in "the neighborhood" for a while. Of course, the term "Palestinin" is a bit of a misnomer. The land was callefd Palestine before it beame known as Israel when Israel became a State. Gola Meir said "When I immigrated, I got a Palestinian passport - Jews were Palestinians as well as Arabs". Jew used to say at Holiday meals "Next year in Palestine!" Arafat confused everyone. There were approximately 140,000 Arabs in Gaza in 1940. Today there are 2 million +. The Israelis & Arabs had a peaceful co existence & Israel thouhgt it was doing good haveing 30,000 Israelis leave Gaza to give it to the Arabs. HAMAS was not elected, but took over the government & only taught the children "Kill a Jew - Kill a Jew!"

Egypt has not been too kindly to the Palestinians in Gaza. They erected walls to keep them out of Egypt! Trump looks at Gaza as real estate and has forgotten that there was a Palestine in population that had lived there and has been desirous of a homeland. I think they deserve one and my idea gives them one with the creation of new Palestine.

I listen on the news two people questioning how to eliminate Hamas what to do about the Palestinians and what to do about the West Bank. Well, don’t you know my Idea sells all those problems but who knows if anyone will grab a hold of it and move with it I certainly hope so.

I have also sent out a lot of emails and will continue in addition to making phone calls to particularly Senator Schumer, Senator Sanders and Senator Shiff. They are all Jewish and certainly have a strong interest in creating a solution.

Jared Kushner is already talking about building a hotel in Gaza! My idea includes the eventual building of Hotels. I also sent the letter and the idea to Jared, but he hasn’t called yet.

My Idea is for the Creation of the Country of New Palestine to be governed by, or overseen by, The Commonwealth. This will assure no leader, or someone who overtakes the government, decides they want to kill all the Jews and destroy Israel. It will assure a lasting peace between Israel & The Palestinians. I call it New Palestine so there is no confusion with Palestine. When Golda Meir immigrated to what was then Palestine, she said that she got a Palestine Passport - “Jews were Palestinians and Arabs were Palestinians.”

1 - Egypt will give land to the south of Gaza, about 2 sq miles. If Egypt is not interested, Israel can use Israeli land East of Gaza. This land would be the place where the Palestinians would be moved to a new tent city with water & many common bathrooms with showers & tubs. They would remain there until what was Gaza is rebuilt (plan below).

2 - A major hospital will be built in Israel East of Gaza with Palestinian doctors & nurses. This is to make sure no Palestinians are in Gaza (New Palestine) when all buildings are razed & tunnels are flooded to “abolish” Hamas. After floodimg, tunnels would be filled in. [Israel has a long history in caring for Arabs in hospitals, clinics, etc. Israel is only country in the world where Arabs have full human rights. 20% of Israel’s citizens are Arab - Arabs sit in The Knesset & there is an Arab Supreme Court Judge].

3 - With the flooding of the tunnels, Hamas members will either drown or be captured for a trial (& jail ?). The old Gaza will be cleared & rebuilt by the world.

4 - The rebuilding will be in the form of Community Living Centers (CLCs). There would be four types of CLCs:

a - A Working CLC where people would work in a profit oriented business & live there. CLC’s would have common dining rooms, as well as private kitchens in each unit. There would be shared cooking, cleaning, etc. Just like a Kibbutz in Israel!

b - A Learning CLC where people go to get a high school degree, Jr College or Bachelors’ degree & Certificates of Excellence in some speciality (from plumbing to computer tech).

c - Caring For CLCs for people who didn’t fit into a or b.

d - Retirement CLCs for old farts like me

There would also be in intake CLC to d derermine which CLC each individual would go to. CLCs will allow the population of New Palestine to become functioning

My idea was originally for dealing with homelessness and the shelter system in America, but it would function very well in New Palestine. CLCs would be a mix of high rises, mid rises & tiny homes. Larger homes & apartments would be built & sold, or rented, to those who want to participate in the CLC concept or just want to live in New Palestine.

5 - The new land “donated” by Egypt could later (after New Palestinians are moved out) be built as a high end resort area.

6 - Areas in the West Bank that are occupied by Arabs would become States or Provinces of New Palestine. See the map on my website

Well, well! Since I posted this over 1 yr ago, starting with "The history of the Jews & Arabs in Israel" below, much has changed! I "forgot" Hamas was "in charge" in Gaza & they have the destruction on Israel in their charter. They teach young kids to carry a pastic machine gun and chant "I want to kill a Jew!" Not a great partner for peace. There is much talk about the need for a "two state solution", but what land is being planned for the Palestinians? They are not a desirable commodity - Egypt & Jordan are not interested in helping them. The history of Israel offering a state for the Palestinians in The West Bank is history. Arafat did not want to give up the large cash flow to the PLA which he took a good share fore himself. Then the Jews decided they wanted to live in Judea/Samaria, the ancestorial homeland of the Jews. Beautiful country & cheap housing could be be created there. Now there ae almost 700,000 living there! Just gt thm all to leave? I think not. So there are 3 problems: 1 - Who is th partner for peace; 2 - Who will be their leader & 3 - What land will become Palestine. I cannot answer the first 2, but maybe my idea, below, could be a foundation for what land will be in The Country of Palestine.

The history of the Jews and Arabs in Israel and the West Bank is complicated. The country of Israel has a population of approximately 9 million of which approximately 2 million are Arabs with a good majority of them being citizens of Israel. There is a Arab Supreme Court Judge & Arabs who are in other government positions, including the Knesset. They live a comfortable life as Israeli citizens. A recent post stated that Israel has about 400 mosques in Israel, 73 in Jerusalem. This is an 8 fold increase since 1988. Walls had been built surrounding some West bank Arab towns because people from those communities went out killing Jews in settlements. The killings dropped dramatically after thecwalls were built. Arab citizens of Israel are not required to serve in the Army unlike Jewish Israelis. About 1,000 Arabs enlisted themselves in the Israeli army.

Over the years, there have been many attempts by Israel to create a Palestinian State. This includes in 2000 an offer from Ehud Barak, then Israel’s Prime Minister, to Arafat at a Camp David. The meeting was with Pres. Bill Clinton. Arafat was offered approximately 90% of what he asked for.

This was before the influx of Israelis into settlements in the West Bank. Arafat rejected this offer because being the leader of the PLO was a cash cow for him. Tens of millions of dollars every year went to his private Swiss bank accounts and to help support his wife living comfortably in Paris.

In 1967, Israel captured the West Bank from Jordan in the Six-Day War when Israel was attacked by all the surrounding Arab countries. Over in 6 days! Israelis started building settlements and towns in the West Bank as they felt this was their historical homeland. There is now a huge Jewish population in the West Bank, and territorial divisions are complicated.

The History of Life in “The West Bank” is Complicated (as are many things in life!)

422 Million Arabs Live in The Middle East. Only 1.6 million of them have complete political & religious freedom, gender equality, freedom of speech & freedom of the press - All of those 1.6 million live here? Israel!

Israel has a population of 8.84 million with 1.9. million arabs, most citizens of Israel with all the rights & benefits of being Israeli citizens. The Knesset, the governing body in Israel has 120 “members” - 17 or 14% of the are Arabs.

The are now 400+ mosques in Israel, 73 in Jerusalem. The number of mosques in Israel has increased 5 fold since 1988 when there were just 80. 300 Imams receive monetary grants from the Israeli government.

But, life IS complicated in The West Bank & so is the history. The West Bank was “won” from Jordan in the 6 day war. All the Arab countries surrounding Israel started the war against Israel on June 5, 1967. In 6 days, Israel defeated all the aggressors & this was part of the peace agreement. The Arabs lost 20,000 soldiers, Israel lost !,000. It was after the 6 day war that Jews started developing settlements in The West Bank. It is the ancestral homeland for the Jews, is beautiful & housing was cheap! East Jerusalem became a hub of activity because the commute to Jerusalem was short & a 2BR in Jerusalem might be about $500,000 + where as a 2 BR in, say Gilo, might be $200,000. Good reason to make that choice. The settlement activity grew as Jews found this to offer many things they wanted - cheap housing, living in the original homeland (Tel Aviv did not exist in ancient times), beautiful topography +++.

A barrier between Abu Dis and East Jerusalem was constructed in June 2004. The barrier was built by Israel following a wave of Palestinian political violence and incidents of terrorism inside Israel during the Second Intifada, which began in September 2000 and ended in February 2005. The Israeli government cites a decreased number of suicide bombings carried out from the West Bank as evidence of its efficacy, after such attacks fell from 73 between 2000 and July 2003 (the completion of the first continuous segment) to 12 between August 2003 and the end of 2006.

Israeli checkpoints are barriers erected as intended to enhance security of Israel and Israeli settlements.

There are over 700 road obstacles to control Palestinian movement within the West Bank. This is not to punish the Palestinians but to prevent killings! It has mostly worked.

I guess if I were to make a "pecking order" for which one of my ideas would become a reality before I "go" (it's not on my calendar, but, for sure, it IS in my future!) it would be:

1 - Creation of "New Palestine". It makes lot of sense to me & COULD BE accomplished. It seems to satisfy all, except the new "proclamation" that all the Palestinians should move (where?) to allow Israel (& Donald Trump) to develop this land) & maybe, I would get a Nobel Prize. The recognition would be nice I could use the $1 million prize - TYVM.

2 - Creation of Community Living Centers in America (& all over the world). A better living choice - starting with eliminating Vet homelessness (about 20,000), then ALL homeless, then anyone who wants to live in that environment. Maybe all those disenfranchised "loonies" would find a home & solace in a CLC & decide maybe a mass murder will not look so good on their resume. My idea of making CL's condos, for the living space, would allow the "rich & famous" to participate & get satisfaction for doing something for those less fortunate than themselves. And they own real estate. They could sell t, hold it, or give it to the homeless as a "gift". Nice gift - TYVM. Elon Musk (you've heard of him!) makes lovely tiny homes (in his spare time) for under $20,000. We could become a nation of Elon Musk Tiny Home CLC's. He would need a separate one for all his kids & their eventual families. BIG family holiday meals.

3 - Changes for NYC. I have had a "love affair" with NYC since I was a kid. I grew up in St. Pete, Fla & when school was out, my mom would drive us up to be with her sister who lived in Mamaroneck. She would tke me into the City to see a show & I was "hooked"! We would park to the West of 8th Ave & crossing 8th, I would see these "creatures". "Mom - they don't have girls like that in St. Pete! She would take my hand, drag me & say "Come along Donnie." My 1st show was Damn Yankees with Gwen Verdon. The section below go over the various ideas I have for NYC.
